Eric Gries

Photo of Eric Gries Eric Gries joined Lucid Imagination as the President and CEO, after spending more than 20 years in executive leadership roles, where he built high-growth technology-based businesses. Prior to joining the company, Eric was an Executive-in-Residence at Granite Ventures. Eric has served as CEO, general manager and vice president for companies in application development, systems management, networking, financial services and hardware systems, in both the U.S. and Europe. Prior to joining Granite Ventures, Eric led XACCT, a pioneering network mediation market leader, as its president and CEO. XACCT was acquired by Amdocs in 2004, at which time Eric joined Amdocs' executive team as Senior Vice President. Earlier in his career, Eric served as general manager of Compuware's Network and Systems Management division, and held product management, marketing, sales and engineering positions at companies such as ACI, Cullinet Software and DEC.

Marc Krellenstein

Photo of Marc Krellenstein Marc Krellenstein is the founder of Lucid Imagination. Marc has 30 years experience in the computer industry, focusing for the last 20 years on information retrieval technology and applications. Marc was previously Chief Technology Officer and Vice President for Search and Discovery Technology at Elsevier, the scientific, technical and medical publishing division of Reed-Elsevier. Prior to Elsevier Marc was Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President of Engineering at Northern Light Technology, where he was the founding technologist and led the design and development of the Northern Light search service, including designing the data model, query interpretation, relevancy ranking, automatic document classification and patented technology for document clustering. Marc has an A.B. in philosophy from Cornell; he earned his M.S. in computer science from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and a Ph.D. in psychology (cognitive science) from the New School for Social Research, NY.

Frank Calderon

Photo of Frank Calderon Frank Calderon has over twenty five years of experience with strategic sales and business development. He began his career in sales with IBM. Frank has held senior level positions at several high tech companies, including Levanta, Inc., a Linux server management solution, Datalogics, Inc., an SGML systems integration provider, Frame Technology, Inc ., a desktop publishing software provider and ACI,US., a client-server relational database provider. As Vice President of Sales and Business Development, he has acquired a deep understanding of the implementation of solutions in the enterprise. His experience with sales initiatives covers a variety of industry segments and includes extensive experience of sales execution in direct sales and developer partner channels.

David M. Fishman

As Director of Product Marketing for the Handhelds Global Business Unit at HP, David led the transition to a portfolio of smartphones, devices and services. He was Director of Software Update Services for Sun Microsystems, leading an acquisition and its integration into an innovative SaaS subscription offering. An experienced Six Sigma Master Blackbelt, David led a broad range of hands-on analytics-driven business and operational improvements for Sun. He earlier managed Sun’s technology alliance with Oracle, and was responsible for aligning the two companies on Java developer programs, marketing, database performance benchmarking and more. Prior to Sun, he program-managed the successful 1993 IPO at Mercury Interactive (now HP Software), later holding product and alliance marketing positions and launching Mercury into the SAP market. David holds an MBA from the Yale University School of Management.

Eran Yaniv

Photo of Eran Yaniv Eran Yaniv is an experienced products and solutions professional. Recently, he managed the component factory and the stacks business for SpikeSource, driving the solution from early stage development to its first 130 customers. Prior to SpikeSource Eran served as senior product manager for Levanta, a data center Linux management vendor. There he focused on strategic roadmap planning and business development. Prior to Levanta, Eran worked in the functional testing division of Mercury Interactive (acquired by HP) as a product manager and other engineering positions for WinRunner, QuickTest Professional, XRunner, and QuickTest Professional for SAP. Eran started his career as a software engineer developing text mining and NLP prototypes for ClearForest (acquired by Reuters).

Photo of Taly Beck Taly Beck brings over twenty years of experience in the enterprise software industry, building service and operation organizations. Taly served as the COO at IDFocus (acquired by CA) an identity management technology solution. Taly was VP Professional Services at Cardonet, building technical support, training and consulting organizations from ground up in the ETL, e-catalog, and content management technologies. Taly joined iPlanet an AOL/Netscape alliance through acquisition of NetDynamics by SUN Microsystems, in which she led the various services organizations. Prior to that, she was at Mercury Interactive (acquired by HP) during its IPO and held various engineering and management positions.
