30-Day Free "Get Started" Program
Limited Time Offer to Help You "Get Started" with LucidWorks for Solr and LucidWorks for Lucene
If you are relatively inexperienced with the Lucene/Solr technologies, Lucid Imagination has put together a free 30-day "Get Started" program to help guide you through your initial experience. Once you have registered and downloaded either LucidWorks for Solr or LucidWorks for Lucene from the Lucid Imagination website, you can submit your questions by email to getstarted@lucidimagination.com and the Lucid Imagination technical team will respond to them in a timely manner.
The focus of this program is to help with first-time installation, configuration, and basic usage of Lucene/Solr and included utilities. The response will include either a direct answer (if the inquiry can be answered briefly), or pointers to information or documentation that clarifies how to accomplish what you want to do. Lucid will also make every effort to provide you with guidelines for implementation, deployment and optimizations whenever possible.
The "Get Started" program is designed to assist users during the initial phase of their evaluation/project and is not meant to replace a commercial support subscription.

-
How do you count 30 days?
30 calendar-days from the date of the initial download.
-
Is there an explicit SLA for the response time?
No. We will make every effort to respond in a timely manner, on a "best efforts" basis. Our goal is to answer within three days of receipt, but this is not guaranteed.

I'm not sure if my question is on topic, what should I do?
Feel free to ask your question. We'll let you know. Even if it is beyond the scope of a full answer from us, we will likely point you at some resources that might help.
-
Will you offer code reviews, such as "I can't get the attached code to work, can you look at it and let me know what I’m doing wrong"?
