This unique offering includes the services delivered under Enterprise Technical Support and also provides you with expert advice during development to ensure that your Lucene/Solr implementations are designed and optimized to get the best performance and accuracy for your particular application. The Expert Link program is sold as a yearly subscription, providing customers with ongoing access to Lucid Imagination domain experts during the entire application lifecycle process.

  • During development

    Lucid Imagination's world-class staff provide expert architectural design, development and testing guidance to you for building your search application using Lucene and Solr. Lucid Imagination domain experts will work closely with your development and IT engineers to ensure that your search applications, based on your specific business and technical requirements, are built to get the best performance, scalability and quality of results possible. 

    Development phase support includes expert advice on search code development, configuration, performance tuning and optimization. Our experts will remotely provide guidance on the best practices for implementing indexing and searching solutions using Apache Lucene or Solr software. With the underlying Enterprise Support Subscription, your organization will also benefit from having the latest tested versions of Lucene and Solr, as well as quick turnaround on bug fixes.

  • In production

    Once you've deployed your search application, Lucid Imagination consultants will work closely with your production and IT engineers to help optimize your production environment of Lucene/Solr enterprise search applications.

    Production phase support often includes expert advice on configuration, performance tuning and optimization. Our experts will conduct remote monitoring and diagnostics to assure you can achieve optimal solution service levels with Lucene/Solr software in your production environment.
